Fire!
Prior to the baptism of Jesus, John the Baptist was quoted in Matthew 3:11, “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
In this powerful series beginning October 9, 2011, we examined what happened to the disciples when they were “baptized with fire” and therefore, what we should be looking for in our own lives. Does God’s fire burn within us? Would the quality of our life be impacted if we were truly “on fire?”
